The association ASM organises this exhibition to give voice to the recent heritage of Tunis.

The title of the exposition “19th and 20th century architecture in Tunis– richness, valorization, vulnerability and challenges”, reflects a higher concern for ASM referring to recent heritage valorization. Considering the importance of this heritage, also outside the wall of the Medina, the ASM has always fight to protect it, because the first historical area at the door of the Medina, judged fundamental to protect its integrity . The development of the Medina has to be considered deeply involved with the one of the 19th  and 20th century city, which has to be considered as the old historic city.
