The consultancy aims at developing detailed urban and architectural regulations for the Core and Buffer Zone of Al Mirgab (a component of the proposed World Heritage Site of Sharjah), for the protection and valorisation of its heritage, while ensuring a controlled and qualified city expansion. The study has developed a detailed analysis of the site, a proposal for the urban design layout for the whole site and detailed interventions for strategic areas, urban and architectural guidelines.
